In the suit, Afrobeat singer, Singer as well his record label were joined in the suit as defendants.<\/p>\n<p>The company had sued the defendants over a breach of contract to perform at the 19th\u00a0edition of the \u2018Warri Again Concert\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>In the suit, the appellant prayed the court\u00a0to award a sum of N2 billion as general damages against the defendants for failing to honour the contract of the concert.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Read Also: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/africatodaynewsnewyork.com\/2024\/02\/01\/why-i-deserve-20-grammys-davido\/\">\u201cWhy I Deserve 20 Grammys\u201d \u2013 Davido<\/a><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Pinnick\u2019s company also prayed the court for N150 million as legal and professional fees with an additional N30 million as the filling cost.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to the court verdict, counsel to the defendants, Mr Oladayo Ogungbe, said after the court\u2019s proceedings that both parties had been able to explore the out-of-court settlement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Davido is coming again to Warri on October 4 to perform \u2013 that forms part of the settlement.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s fine.
