Bashir El-Rufai who is the son of the immediate governor of <a href=\"https:\/\/africadailynews.net\/2022\/10\/10\/serious-panic-hits-kaduna-state-with-fresh-fuel-scarcity.html\">Kaduna State<\/a>, Nasir El-Rufai, has lashed out at Governor Uba Sani accusing him of neglecting his duties in the state.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He claimed that Governor Sani was always hibernating in Abuja while surrounding himself with incompetent aides.<\/p>\n<p>Bashir said that instead of admitting its incompetence, the Uba Sani administration has resorted to raising alarm on a debt burden inherited from Governor El-Rufai administration.<\/p>\n<p>He was reacting to claims by Sani that he inherited a huge debt burden of $587m, N85bn and 115 contractual liabilities from the El-Rufai\u2019s administration, making it difficult for him to pay workers\u2019 salaries.<\/p>\n<p>Africa Today News, New York had reported that Governor Sani disclosed this during a town hall meeting on Saturday in Kaduna.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em><strong>Read Also: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/africatodaynewsnewyork.com\/2024\/03\/30\/kaduna-in-massive-debt-unable-to-cover-payroll-gov\/\">Kaduna In Massive Debt, Unable To Cover Payroll \u2013 Gov<\/a><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Responding, Bashir posted on X: \u201c<em>These guys have realised that they are wholly incompetent and the only way to mask the nonsense is to deflect.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cFrom a Governor that is always sleeping in Abuja to a litany of incompetent aides that were only rewarded for foolish political reasons.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>On the debt profile of the state, he responded: \u201cFYI: He was the Senator from Kaduna who lobbied and approved the loans.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOne would think that from all the FAAC allocations these unserious clowns have changed to dollars, debt would be the least of their problems.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe current administration in Kaduna is building a banquet hall for 7bn naira and is lamenting about debt left by the previous administration.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/africatodaynewsnewyork.com\/\"><strong>Africa Today News, New York<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hon.
